The Irish Second-Level Students' Union say they're concerned that the proposals put forward have not yet been ironed out and more clarification is needed before this emergency plan is implemented

In a statement issued to RedFM News they also say student welfare needs to be adequately considered in the proposal.

The union says no additional supports have been announced as of yet to help exam year students navigate through this extension of examinations.
