Irish is the most difficult subject to learn on line, according to a survey of those impacted by the closure of primary schools.
Maynooth University has looked at how schools, teachers, parents and pupils are adjusting to distance learning.
The survey also found the majority of schools interact with their students at least once a week
64 per cent of those surveyed found the areas of the curriculum that are easier to adapt for distance learning are English, PE and Maths.
