An Irishman accused of being the ringleader of an illegal operation to bring migrants into the UK has been refused bail ahead of his extradition hearing.
Ronan Hughes of Leitrim Silverstream, Tee-holland, Co. Monaghan is facing multiple manslaughter charges arising from the Essex lorry deaths last year.
