Just 21% of 5 to 11 year olds are fully vaccinated against Covid.
CSO figures show the rate of vaccination varies across the country for children, up to the end of July.
It ranges from 4% in the Buncrana Local Electoral Area in Donegal, to 54% in Stillorgan in Dublin.
The figures also show just 16% of employees across all sectors are not fully vaccinated.
The accommodation and food services sector had the highest percentage of employees who were not fully vaccinated at 22%.
