Justice Minister reacts to reports of 'hundreds' of cars arriving into Ireland via ferry

The Justice Minister says reports of hundreds of cars arriving into Ireland at ferry ports last week "don't stack up".

A leading expert says anyone coming into the country should be forced to do two weeks in quarantine.

There's been some concern after photos emerged online appearing to show British-registered cars driving off ferries at Irish ports last week.

Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan says some cars were turned back and the issue will continue to be monitored

The Minister adcded that Gardai have examined all reports of extra activity at the country's ports over Easter
