KC's chipper in Douglas has launched a delivery service for the first time.
The decision comes as the takeaway had attempted to scratch the itch of it's customers by developing a click and collect system which had to be ceased after Gardaí grew concerned about social distancing measures. The staff were also overwhelmed by orders, therefore a new approach had to be conceived.
Today the Douglas village based takeaway has announced it will start a delivery service. The new system will be available to those living within a 2.5km radius of KC's and will be operational between 4pm-10pm daily. On their website, the owners said "As much as we would like to offer a more comprehensive service we are, like everyone, struggling to deal with current circumstances. We hope you all stay safe and stay home."
