Kinsale Gourmet Weekend 15th-17th of October 2021 cancelled
Organisers say that with due regard to the safety and health of their members, staff, leaders, attendees, sponsors and anyone involved in the undertaking of The Gourmet Weekend in Kinsale 2021, they have have no other choice than to cancel this event two years in a row. The festival plays host to Jim Edwards, The Supper Club, Finns Farmcut, The White Lady, Man Friday, Actons Hotel, The White House, The Trident Hotel, The Bulman, Fishy Fishy and The Blue Haven along with sponsors of wines, beers & spirits, food stalls of local producers, musicians, street entertainers and more.
The group says they are devastated to share the news but are committed to do their part to help protect their staff, attendees and say they are continuing to explore options to reschedule this event in early 2022.
In a statement issued to RedFM News the organisers say they are a small group of restaurants in a relatively small town and the members main priority now is their own business which they says, as everyone knows are extremely hard to staff and proprietors and chefs are working long hours to keep the show on the road. To maintain such high standards that Kinsale food is known for. We are extremely disappointed that we are unable to hold this event.
