Cork County Council has confirmed it's to trial the closure of two roads in a West Cork town in a bid to boost the town as it reopens.
The local authority has identified Kinsale as one of the towns in the county that could be the most impacted economically from the social distancing restrictions brought on by COVID19.
Temporary street closures will be imposed seven days a week on Short Quay and on Sundays on Main Street to allow for a more open space for pedestrians.
