The Labour Party is calling for clarity for students on this year's Leaving Cert.
It says this year's cohort are at a disadvantage having missed out on a significant number of school days due to Covid-19.
Education spokesperson, Aodhan O'Riordain, says a hybrid model similar to last year needs to be considered.
"We absolutely believe that what happened in 2021 has to happen this year.
"This cohort of Leaving Cert students have missed out on a number of months of in-school learning when they were in fifth year.
"They've had a very Covid affected education in the last number of months.
"Clearly Covid is still having a large, negative effect on their schooling."
