Young Irish Catholics has launched the "We Need Worship" campaign which calls on the government to reconsider level 5 restrictions that prevent in-person mass from taking place.
Earlier this month business man Declan Ganley initiated a High Court Action, alleging the Covid-19 rules violate his right to religious freedom.
Spokesperson for the campaign Sandra Parda said the restrictions are unfair, "I've seen the government statistics on public worship, not only the Catholic churches, but that includes people who practice Islam, Jews, and everything, every other religion and there's no real connection for public worship and COVID".
