John Bowman who owns Bel Childcare spoke to our News Editor Lana O'Connor

Creche owners are being asked to stop charging parents for creche places during the coronavirus crisis.

In return, the Department of Children is offering the industry a 12-week rescue package but in order to avail of these measure they must sign a new contract with the Department which includes an agreement to not charge parents fees from April 1st.

John Bowman of Bel Childcare says while this package is good news for creche workers it doesn't address the challenges that childcare providers are facing
