The service is being reduced to 5 centres across Cork and two in Kerry
Dr Nick Flynn of MyCorkGP.ie says the remaining cells will be locked and kept sterile in case they are needed in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak
He says the same number of GP's will be available and this move will ensure the service can be maintained
