The committee have been hosting public vigils all weekend
Members of the committee say their worried a recent spike in house-parties and civil disobedience on their street could lead to a resurgence in Covid-19 figures Leeside.
Multiple silent vigils were held on Magazine Road and Glasheen Road over the weekend by local residents who are calling on parents and landlords to reconsider allowing students to move back to their rented accommodation for the Summer.
Another vigil is planned this afternoon from 2pm, beginning at Coolgarten Park before moving to Dorgan's Road and onto Magazine Road.
