A man has tested positive for coronavirus at the Bons Secours Hospital in the city.
He is the second person to be diagnosed with the virus in Cork after a man in his 40s tested positive at CUH last week.
The total number of cases here is now 21 including a woman in the east of the country who was also diagnosed yesterday.
In the North, the Department of Health identified five new cases last night - bringing the total number to 12.
