It's to to curb the spread of Covid-19
Dr Nick Flynn of MyCorkGP spoke out this morning in the wake of large gatherings of people on beaches across the county which sparked concerns effective social distancing was not being practiced.
The Cork GP said calls to his practice have doubled - 1,750 calls were recorded when Coronavirus first arrived in Ireland however that number climbed to 3,600 two weeks ago.
