'Meat processing plants should not become the new frontline'

That's according to SIPTU who say they have concerns for their members working in meat processing plants amid hundreds of cases of COVID19 identified in plants across the country.

It has also been confirmed to RedFM News this evening that there are a number of clusters here in the South.

Last week it was confirmed that 566 cases were identified in ten different locations nationwide however it's understood that number may have grown since.

Speaking to RedFM News Greg Ennis of SIPTU says calls for temperature testing at the facilities has been ignored:
