Medical experts are examining whether Covid-19 is linked to 12 children dying from hepatitis.
One child in Ireland has died from the disease, which causes inflammation of the liver.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control says there have been approximately 450 cases globally.
Vaccines have been ruled out of having any connection with the deaths.
