Further meetings are taking place today to discuss how schools can reopen in the autumn.

The Department of Education is having discussions with teachers' unions, to consider how they can operate post-Covid.

Hygeine, cleaning and the training of staff are among the items on the agenda.

Schools are due to open on a phased basis in late August or early September.
