The music industry is calling for the rollout of the Digital Covid Cert to allow festivals to operate at full capacity.
Organisers of Electric Picnic are hoping 70,000 people can attend the event next month.
Festival Republic is proposing anyone attending would prove they're vaccinated or recovered from Covid.
Matt McGranaghan from the Music and Entertainment Association thinks a vaccination cert is the best way to restart large events.
"There have been festivals in other parts of the world where that has been used, and there has still been cases of Covid-19.
"I think the Digital Covid Cert is probably the best tool that we have going forward."
