The National Public Health Emergency Team will meet this morning to review the latest situation with Covid-19.
The head of ESRI's behavioural research Unit, Pete Lunn, says there's been an improvement in public sentiment since Friday's announcement, which saw two restrictions eased from today.
"You can see that in the tracking surveys that have been done, a greater proportion of people think the worst of the crisis is behind us.
"People are expressing more enjoyment and happiness, and that's really important, as w took a huge well being hit as a result of this crisis.
"We can now see that there is some change to that, people are feeling a bit better, they've got a bit of optimism as a result of the announcement.
"Another thing we can see is a large majority of the population are not clamouring to get back out there, they're actually very nervous and they want it done slowly and cautiously."
