New stats released by HPSC reveal insight into COVID19 in Ireland

94% of people who've died with Covid-19 in Ireland had an underlying health condition.

A quarter of people who've contracted the virus also had an underlying condition.

Nearly 4,900 children under 14 have been diagnosed with the disease, and nearly 6,100 people over 75.

The statistics are included in a new report from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.
