Only 4% of Irish people would refuse a Covid 19 vaccine, according to a new survey
The Irish Pharmaceutical Health Association says the number of people willing to get the dose has risen to 88%.
The number of those surveyed who don't want to get vaccinated has dropped since January, when 7% said they would refuse it.
IPHA spokesperson, Bernard Malee says it appears the effectiveness of the jab is influencing opinions.
"We didn't measure that in particular, but I think that it's clear from the vaccination that it's helping to contain the disease.
"Indicators for mortality, hospitalisation, ICU admissions, caseload are stabilising or decreasing, and that's enabling the country to unlock gradually, and it's a very positive result for the vaccination programme."
