No VAT will be paid on personal protection equipment and medical equipment being used to treat patients with covid-19.
Revenue says the temporary measure will apply to PPE, thermometers, hand sanitiser, ventilators and oxygen supplied to the HSE, hospitals, nursing homes, care homes and GP practices.
This temporary measure will apply from April 9th until July 31st.
