Health officials are monitoring Cork, which recorded 60 new cases of the virus yesterday and 40 on Tuesday.
According to the latest report from the HSE, there is one confirmed case and four suspected cases of Covid at CUH and three confirmed and five suspected cases at the Mercy.
There are no patients in Intensive care wards at either hospital however.
429 cases of the virus were reported yesterday, with one new death.
