CareChoice confirmed the situation this morning
The home have not revealed how many cases of the virus have been identified in the interests of confidentiality but say the home is fully staffed with adequate PPE in place.
CareChoice say the incidence of Covid-19 was largely identified via proactive testing and that they are following all HSE and World Health Organisation protocols.
The home has thanked the families of their residents for their support and understanding, particularly in relation to visiting restrictions due to the pandemic
