Nursing Home Owner Says Main Priority Is Keeping What's In The Community Out Of Nursing Homes

"Keeping what's in the community out of our nursing homes is the main priority" - That's the message from Oaklodge Nursing Home owner Diarmuid Ó'Dálaigh

He was reacting to the news that, with the exception of critical and compassionate circumstances, face-to-face visits at nursing homes are to stop as the country moved to Level 3 of COVID restrictions.

The entire country will move to Level 3 restrictions from midnight, meaning visitor restrictions at nursing homes will be in line with measures taken in March.

Speaking to RedFM News, Diarmuid Ó'Dálaigh from Oaklodge Nursing Home in Cloyne says they will be taking extreme care going forward:
