One way systems should be introduced in shopping centres ahead of their opening next week.

The National Standards Authority has issued a set of guidelines for large retail outlets to operate safely.

It's also advising turning off wifi and removing public seating areas to prevent people from congregating.

Elizabeth Canavan from the Department of the Taoiseach says shoppers will notice a major difference next week:
