The online registration for Leaving Cert calculated grades is now open.
The students will be asked which level they are choosing and will need their PPS and exam number.
The calculated grades are replacing the Leaving Cert this year as it’s been cancelled for health reasons because of the pandemic.
"The process for providing them a calculated basis is being worked through, and we're going to look at applications on a case by case basis", says Andrea Feeney of the Department of Education.
"We're working through the fine detail of that at the moment.
"Our objective is to try and provide a calculated grade for every student who has entered for the examinations this year, provided we can get evidence to support the grade, and we'll be doing as much as we possibly can to support those students."
