More than 100 people have been prosecuted for domestic violence offences during Covid-19.
In the last two weeks of May, 107 were charged as part of a special Garda operation to help victims during the pandemic.
The force says domestic abuse cases have also increased by 25% this year.
It received more than 8,200 calls between January and May 25th.
