There are now just over 5,700 confirmed cases of the coronavirus here and 210 people have died.
The majority of deaths have been in patients over the age of 65, but four people aged between 25 and 44 have lost their lives.
The number of Covid clusters has risen to 270, with almost a third of them occurring in nursing homes.
Chairman of the Coronavirus Expert Advisory Group, Cillian De Gascun, says their testing capacity still isn’t where they want it.
"We don't have as complete a picture of the virus circulating through the community as we would want because we're not doing the level of testing that we want to be doing.
"That will scale up over the coming days and weeks."
