Over 30,000 people on the scheme received extra money in the form of arrears today
The total amount paid out this morning was €129.2 million, with just over 10% of this going to people on the PUP Leeside.
The money was paid ahead of the rollout of the Christmas Bonus, which will see almost €390 million paid out to 1.6 million people across Ireland.
