The Echo reports the patient, who had presented with mild-flu like symptoms, was discharged on Tuesday following two negative tests for the illness.
The news comes after the HSE confirmed the first death in Ireland from the virus last night- an elderly woman with underlying health issues in the east of the country.
People are being asked to limit social interaction as the virus spreads.
The number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 43.
