It comes after it emerged that soldiers isolating at an army camp in North Cork weren't testing for Covid-19 for nearly a fortnight.
The soldiers were awaiting deployment to Lebanon at Lynch Camp near Kilworth in June and they and weren't tested for the virus for nearly two weeks after they went into quarantine at the army camp.
Two of the soldiers tested positive and were unable to fly out to Lebanon last Wednesday night, while another 25 who were in close contact with them at the camp are currently self-isolating.
The Defence Forces say they carried out testing in line with HSE guidelines
But speaking to RedFM News PDForra's Mark Keane says questions have been raised about the testing delay
