The INMO is calling for the action to be taken in an effort to prevent a spike in Covid-19 infections
That's according to the INMO in Cork who say front line medical staff fear the number of hospital acquired coronavirus infections will spike if the current trend of increasing trolley figures is not tackled.
There were ten patients on trolleys at CUH on Tuesday, 15 yesterday and 21 today, meanwhile there is just one person waiting for a bed in all of the emergency departments in Dublin.
