Quarantine Rules For Anyone Travelling To Ireland From Denmark Have Been Tightened

It's after a mutated strain of Covid-19 circulating in mink farms spilled over into humans

It comes as the Department of Transport says it's moving to adopt more of the EU's traffic light travel system -- including limiting travel by region instead of by country.

From midnight tonight, those coming from areas with an orange rating will be allowed skip quarantine if they test negative three days before travel.

For now though, most of Europe remains red.

Editor of Air and Travel Magazine, Eoghan Corry says the move might open up some key destinations a little sooner.
