There are reports of long queues at the City Hall Vaccination Centre already this morning - with some people queueing since well before 8am.
The Moderna booster shot will be available in walk-in clinics in Cork today for those aged over 50, and for healthcare workers over 30-years-of -age.
City Hall is open for walk-in booster jabs until 4 o'clock this evening, and again tomorrow between 9am and 4pm.
Walk-in booster jabs are also available at the Bantry Vaccination Centre today between 1pm and 4:30pm, and tomorrow from 9 to half past 4.

The HSE is reminding people seeking a booster that it must be 5 months since their second dose or 6 months since contracting Covid.
People are asked to bring their digital cert or vaccine card, while healthcare workers should bring their work ID.
