‘Trading customers’ only should attend marts until further notice
The Irish Co-operative Organisation Society has announced some measures to be introduced at marts around the country in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak
They say that ‘trading customers’ only should attend marts until further notice and those not involved in the buying or selling of livestock to refrain from visiting until further notice up to the 29th March 2020
The number of people attending individual mart ringsides at any one time will be limited to 100, which will be managed on a strict rotation system
