Administration of the vaccine is scheduled to being tomorrow

The announcement was made after Food and Drug Administration gave the go ahead for emergency use of the Pfizer/BioNTech’s vaccine on Friday.

General Gustave Perna said as many as 40 million doses of the vaccine could be available by the end of the month.

The US is the sixth country to give the go ahead to the country. Britain was the first.

The EU is expected to approve the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine on the 29th of this month while a decision on the Moderna vaccine is due on January 12 at the latest.
