Shopping centres across Cork are opening their doors this morning as part of the latest easing of restrictions.
Small queues have been forming outside many centres since early morning, with shoppers being reminded about the two metre social distancing rule and encouraged to wear face coverings.
Centres have been disinfected and sanitised in advance of opening and additional staff will be on hand to help people with new one way systems.
Speaking to RedFM News, Wilton Shopping Centre manager Susanne Irwin has this advice for shoppers.
"It's new to everyone, we're going to do our best to all the customers that come in.
"People need to be mindful of other customers around the centre, keep your two metre distance, we have a lot of staff on today and they all have high-vis jackets, so if anyone has any problems they just need to go up to one of the staff members and they'll assist you."
