A private company is hiring staff to take samples for Coronavirus testing
The positions offers 11.50 per hour.
It's looking for people to work for six months, to be based at all of the country's major airports.
Party spokesperson Louise O'Reilly says that rate of pay is inappropriate for this type of job:
'It is dangerous work. The simple fact is they are putting themselves in a situation whereby there is a high likelihood of coming into contact with someone who has Covid-19. That should be reflected in their wages. Decent terms and conditions of employment shouldn't be a subject of controversy, it should be a given.'
