SIPTU Says Providing Home Helps With Personal Protective Equipment Could Save Lives

The union says it would also ease pressure on ICUs.

 

That's according to SIPTU who have expressed concern about a lack of gloves, masks, and sanitisers for their members.

Earlier this month the HSE said there should be no direct contact between carers and clients who suspect they may have contracted the virus.

The also say they will do everything they can to continue the service and will prioritise the most vulnerable where possible.
