The Government is considering reintroducing testing for close contacts of confirmed cases in primary schools.
It comes just a month after contact tracing and testing for those students was removed.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar says he understands that can look like a backtrack:
"Science isn't set in stone and new evidence, new information becomes available and that has caused us over the course of the pandemic, to to change tactic on occasion, to change policies, to reintroduce policies and I understand that's frustrating for people and can be confusing at times. But the objective is to do the right thing based on the science that's available and that does continue to evolve.
