An emergency blood donation clinic is running at City Hall until Thursday.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service set up the temporary clinic to boost supplies after they announced changes in the wake of Covid-19 to meet patient demand while ensuring the safety of donors attending clinics.
The IBTS say they are not expecting a large reduction in the need for blood and estimate they will need to collect 805 of their usual supply.
