The HSE are set to increase the rate of Covid-19 testing at Páirc Uí Chaoimh after a backlog of appointments was cleared.
The Irish Examiner reports that only a handful of people were tested at the stadium yesterday, however the HSE say they expect the number of tests to increase dramatically this week.
The government had originally planned to carry out 15,000 tests a day, however the service has only tested between 2,000 and 3,000 people a day.
A global shortage of the re-agent used to test for the virus has also led to delays.
