The Everyman Theatre Say They're Functioning On Just 8% Of Their Regular Income

It's due to the Covid-19 outbreak

The iconic MacCurtain Street theatre has been shut down entirely in recent months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement issued to RedFM News this afternoon, a spokesperson for The Everyman 92% of income comes from ticket sales which was taken away virtually overnight back in March.

The statement went on to thank the people of Cork who have bought vouchers or donated to the theatre in recent weeks, and that they look forward to bringing live theatre back to Cork when it's safe to do so.
