It's after being shut due to Covid-19 restrictions
On Friday March 13th it was revealed that the Southdoc unit in Fermoy would close, and that the services would be redeployed to Mallow.
It's now understood the local GP service will re-open with a date yet to be confirmed, with the the Kanturk SouthDoc service due to do the same.
In a statement issued to RedFM News, North Cork TD Seán Sherlock says the news will be welcomed by the people of Fermoy and Mitchelstown:
