The HSE Paid Over €14 Million For Ventilators That Were Never Used

They went unused due to issues with quality

It made an arrangement in March with the Irish based event management company Roqu Media to source the equipment.

A HSE spokesperson has told the Irish Examiner that there were 'issues' with the devices and it is in ongoing discussions to rectify those.

While the owner of Roqu, Robert Quirke, claimed the problem was down to an ongoing need to 'calibrate' the ventilators.
