The Taoiseach Has Spoken To The Principal Of Glanmire National School Following A Recent Covid-19 Outbreak

Taoiseach Micheal Martin has spoken to the principal of a Cork school following a recent Covid-19 outbreak.

Gaelscoil Uí Drisceoil in Glanmire was recently closed as a precaution after 17 students tested positive for Covid-19.

It sparked calls by parents in the school for the HSE to inform schools if a student or staff member tests positive for the virus.

An online petition was set up the parents in the wake of the incident.

Speaking to RedFM News Taoiseach Mícheál Martin says he's aware of the situation and has raised the issue with the relevant authorities:
