Parents can register their children aged between 5 and 11 on an online portal for covid vaccinations from today.

Children with high-risk conditions, or who live with someone who is more at risk, will be offered an appointment in a vaccine centre from next Monday, January 3rd.

A Walk-In Covid Vaccination Clinic will take place at City Hall every day this week.

No appointments are necessary.

Those aged 40 years and older can avail of the clinics for booster vaccines today until half past 7, as can healthcare workers over 30.

A man in his 30s has died following a crash in County Mayo.

Two cars collided shortly after half past 5 yesterday evening.

While in County Wicklow, a man in his 30s has died following a crash involving a car and a bus.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, nobody else was injured.

This incident brings to seven the death toll on the roads across the island since Sunday.
