The Vintners Federation says government supports need to be discusses after the Chief Medical Officer dashed hopes of pubs reopening next month

Earlier this week, pubs had outlined a number of measures which they hoped would see them allowed to open their doors sooner than August 10th

These included no live music and table service, as well as limits on the numbers using toilets at any one time.

This morning Dr Tony Holohan said these would not work, which has led to CEO of the Vintners Federation Donal O'Keefe calling for an urgent meeting with the government
